Dr. Kimberly Silvers
Dr. Silvers is a native of Elmira, New York and has been practicing Dermatology for the past nine (9) years. Dr. Silvers is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and currently participating in a Fellowship for The American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine
Dr. Silvers began her education at Union College 1984-1988, receiving her Bachelor Degree Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Silvers' Medical Scientist Training Program was conducted at Case Western Reserve University with a PhD in Environmental Science, studying cancer research with chemical and diesel fumes, completing her medical degree in 1988-1997. Dr. Silvers completed her internship at Metro West Medical Center, in Framingham, Massachusetts, which is a Harvard affiliated program 1997-1998. Dr. Silvers Dermatology Residency was completed at Suny, Stony Brook, 1997-2001.
Dr. Silvers practiced Dermatology at Guthrie Clinic, Sayre, Pennsylvania for six years before starting her private practice in 2007.
Dr. Silvers the founder of the Mobile "Mole Patrol" an RV vehicle that has been converted and equipped for skin cancer screenings. These screenings are free and open to the public. Insurance is not required and each screening takes about 10 minutes to complete. The procedure is non-invasive and does not require the use of any medications. Screenings are given on a first come, served basis. Ithaca Dermatology, PLLC is using the "Mole Patrol" for community outreach. Check the website for dates near you.
